Ok, so this is the subject of much debate. But many of you looking for a filter that gets rid of fluoride obviously already know that you don’t want it in your water and you most likely know why.
For those who happened here and are wondering why you would want to get rid of the fluoride that was purposely added to your water by your city, I will give a brief explanation.
The fluoride added to the city water in many communities, is mainly hydrofluorosilicic acid, (aka sodium fluoride) an industrial by-product from the phosphate fertilizer industry.
